RETAIL POOL DISTRIBUTION – Time Critical Freight is one of the largest retail pool distributors in the Mid-Atlantic region.  Our customers ship to TCF’s distribution centers where their merchandise is sorted by store, consolidated, and delivered on rigid target-time schedules.  TCF services over 1000 retail outlets everyday.

DEDICATED FLEET – Time Critical Freight currently provides a dedicated fleet serviced from either our facilities, or from the customer’s distribution center.  TCF will receive your freight at one of our facilities, prepare it to the customer’s specifications, and load it for delivery on a dedicated vehicle.  We will also load our trucks from the customer’s docks, and deliver directly to the destination.

LTL CARRIER – TCF can provide less-than-truckload shipment service throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

WAREHOUSING – Time Critical Freight has access to both long-term and short-term warehouse space in all of our facilities.  Additionally, we have the inventory software systems and manpower available to meet our customer’s demands.

CONSOLIDATION SERVICES – All TCF facilities have both the manpower and capacity to consolidate the shipper’s freight to your customer’s receiving specifications, whether that includes sort and segregate by product, or palletize to customer’s demands.

DECONSOLIDATION SERVICES – Time Critical Freight can receive containers from steamship lines or rail boxes, strip the freight, and tender to the carriers in any manner specified by the customer.

DRAYAGE – Time Critical Freight provides drayage services from the ports of Baltimore, Hampton Roads, Richmond, Wilmington, and Charleston.

BARCODE SCANNING – Time Critical Freight utilizes the latest technology to capture shipment data.  We have in excess of 100 handheld scanners that are used to scan cartons into our facilities, onto our trucks, and into the customer’s stores.

ELECTRONIC DATA INTERCHANGE – TCF’s use of Aurora’s TransEaz transportation management software enables us to access shipment information, barcode scans, provide OS&D reports, and invoice via our T1 line.
